Twitter Oauth Bah!
One thing that used to be nice about Twitter was the simplicity of the API, you could read the stuff you follow with a simple script on any old tech you have lying around. Not any more ( yeah I know - security blah, blah) . You'd think you it would be enough to Ouath making posts, not just getting your "followed"which is public anyhow. Spoiled it for me.

A Cup of Robots
My sweetheart made me a card :
It is inspired by cup of robots ~ on white by striatic, done with a cricut cut cup and rubber stamped robots.

Changing a tyre on chainless bicycle
The canvas was starting to show through on the rear tyre on my Bollwell S7, changing it turned out to be much simpler than I had expected.
First undo the thumbscrew on the SRAM gear assembly and remove it.
Next remove the plastic gear cover by taking out the two philips-head screws .
Undo the wheel nuts, the wheel is located in the correct position by special washers. Remove the wheel .
A view into the gear housing .
The gears still look to be in good nick, they appear to be attached with grub screws if they did need changing (I expect it to be quite a few more years before that needs doing.)
Change the tyre as per usual and reverse the process to reassemble. On the whole, less messy than the same job on a chain drive bike.

Idleness
"Viridian Inactivism"
"Activism is an attention hog, and very time and energy intensive. A better approach is to find the things you are doing that intensify the problem, and just cease doing them. " - Viridian Principles 1.0Wednesday, 14 April 2010
